ICANN said ok, updated their database, but all the third party companies that provide access to this listing has to update themselves too. To view your account ID number, click on ‘Manage License Keys’ in the Account menu in your account portal direct link, login required. What happened is starlnk's specific case is they bought blocks of IPs from Google and other larger providers who were just sitting on them in case they needed to use them. The issue is geoIP services need to update their listing when IPs are reassigned from different countries.
